PJ Brown, Massage Therapist
PJ grew up in an environment of artistic expression as a dancer and gymnast. She then went on to study 100 hours of ancient Thai massage in the Lahu village with Sunshine Network and practiced Thai massage for 2 years in New Zealand while instructing surfing and acroyoga. She moved back to the mountains and studied massage therapy at Mountainheart School of Bodywork and transformation where she learned neuromuscular, swedish, assisted stretching, prenatal, body metaphor healing, and trauma recovery. Her bodywork fuses Thai, Ashiatsu (barefoot,) swedish, deep tissue, and acro therapeutics. Her intention is to connect and to sustain healthy bodies with her clients so they can continue to be fluid in their activity of choice.
Katie Dautrich, Licensed Acupuncturist
Katie has a very intuitive style which allows her to feel for more subtle nuisances in the body. Katie has been influenced by many and she loves having a giant tool bag in which to choose the best treatment options. She is also very hands-on and will spend a good portion of the session massaging, feeling, moving, and stretching the body.
While needles aren’t for everybody, Katie believes that Traditional Chinese Medicine is. There are so many different treatment options, so many modalities within its scope that even the most needle-phobic person can find benefit from this powerful medicine. Katie specializes in treating emotional trauma and psychological disorders as well as pain, digestive issues, and menstrual irregularities.
